These fabrics sure do look tasty. That voile is an inspired choice for the Chantilly! I think I read some comments that with the gathering in the Chantilly, it was OK without a SBA -- or that they just removed a little width from the bust pieces as their "SBA lite" and it worked fine. And unselfish crafting --- I admire!jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14891339427334605978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953523469625493833.post-78432745333844227102012-07-18T07:31:00.893+02:002012-07-18T07:31:00.893+02:00All three fabrics are lovely but I really like the...All three fabrics are lovely but I really like the cotton voile. Sad cause I put a lot of work into it, happy cause well... it means I lost weight.

In order to save fabric I recommend just doing a muslin on the bodice portion. The skirt is basically a dirndl, so no real fitting required. I also recommend doing a hand-picked zipper insertion.ladykatzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04046811640134997947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953523469625493833.post-20999094382059327362012-07-11T21:23:59.646+02:002012-07-11T21:23:59.646+02:00Your fabric choices are lovely, and it's great...Your fabric choices are lovely, and it's great that your hubbie went fabric shopping with you for his shirts!Meg the Grandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05505371880343451606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4953523469625493833.post-4983744205289526852012-07-11T12:45:59.486+02:002012-07-11T12:45:59.486+02:00Such beautiful fabrics!!
